Fresh Forward manages among other things licenses for cultivars from other breeders. This is not only for strawberries, but also for apples, pears, some ornamental and arable crops. Fresh Forward carries out a testing program for these cultivars and develops a market approach.

Fresh Forward releases all varieties under license. The varieties are protected by Plant Breeders' Rights and/or trade mark and released.
