Santana

Santana is a tasty, crispy, juicy and fresh tasting apple. This Dutch apple variety is a cross between Elstar and Priscilla. Santana is resistant to the main fungal disease that affects apples, i.e. scab. This reduces the need for pesticides and makes it possible to grow Santana in a very environmentally friendly way, the reason why many organic growers opt for this variety. On the whole Santana apples cause few allergic reactions in people with an apple allergy.
